       Nu-NRG氢气发生器系统是一种高效、低成本的电解装置,可产生360升/千瓦时的速度的氢气/氧气。一个模块在24伏电压下耗能4瓦将产生1.5L/min的气体。该装置可用于汽车引擎节油,主要原理是采用电解活性水分子来产生氢气,再将氢气注入引擎进气孔使燃油充分,进而提高引擎效率和使用寿命。该装置能使重型装载货车的油耗在现有的基础上节省15%-20%以上,而且降低车辆尾气的污染排放。

       该技术还可应用于内燃机、石油和天然气锅炉、沼气发动机、热电联产和涡轮机上。可将多个模块并联连接用于生成客户要求的气体量。

       爱尔兰机械工程师David通过他自己的公司组装生产,在某运输公司的大量重型运输车辆上进行了两年以上的试验性应用并且发挥相当不错的效果。David希望能在中国找到合作公司进一步研究和产业化该项目。

       该技术已具有专利,可小规模生产,可应用于内燃机,石油和天然气锅炉,沼气发动机,热电联产和涡轮机上,市场前景广阔。
    Nu-Nrg Reformer is a high efficiency electrolysis device which generates a hydrogen/oxygen gas from water and DC low voltage and the primary use is to improve combustion efficiency.

    The gas is injected through the air intake on engine and boilers, usually close to the combustion chamber and on engines before the turbo charger.

    The system is a modular design to accommodate numerous applications where units can be connected in parallel for gas volume as required.

    A single module has an efficiency of 1.5 litres per minute for 4 watts electrical input or 90L/hr at 240watts.  Four modules connected in parallel will produce 360L/hr for less than 1kwh.

    The Reformer design (Black Box) measures 17x18x5cm and is constructed with a polypropylene housing with electrodes located internally. The gas generated can exit from the top cover and is bubbled via the 3.5 litre water storage tank above and from this tank to an engine or appliance.  See IMG 02 below.

    The system is prewired and incorporates an intelligent electronic circuit board which is computer programmed for gas output required. This adjustment can be carried out on site by a service engineer using a laptop and takes just a few minutes.

    This circuit has a dual function; as current draw increases with rise in temperature the voltage will automatically reduce to maintain the optimum energy consumption. The circuit is housed in the grey box above the Reformer.

    All parts are enclosed in a stainless steel box as seen in IMG 01 which measures 44x30x12cm and is convenient for stand alone applications or simply bolted to the back of a truck. A 220/110v to 24v Power Supply Unit is adequate for stand alone applications.

    Due to the high efficiency of gas production a pv array is an alternative free energy solution and the gas can be stored in safety using metal hydride tanks.

    Testing on HGVs has shown with an average weekly mileage of 2,500 miles, water use is just two litres.

    No maintenance is required other than to ensure the user adds water. The water level can be seen through the slot in the face of the housing. This treated water is supplied by the Service Agent.

    Frost protection is provided with a 12/24v 5 watt silicone heat mat 15x5cm bonded to the reformer housing and is wired through a fused bi-metal thermostat which operates below 5 deg C.

    Installation
    The live wire electrical supply to the electronic circuit board must be in the order of 40amp capacity. The reason for this is to ensure there is no voltage drop along the length of cable.

    0.1 of a volt will result in 0.5 of an amp reduction and the device will not function to specification.

    The device is designed to operate at a temperature of 60 deg C to ensure water vapor is also produced. The gas pipe from the water tank to engine/appliance must be insulated to ensure vapor will not condense in the pipe. This vapor has a latent cooling affect on combustion and testing has shown it will also improve efficiency by an additional 5%.

    Nu-Nrg Reformer has been tested on vehicles and oil fired boilers and has improved fuel efficiency between 19 to 35 % and all users have reported an increase in power.
